The ultimate career

nice pink moustache from crystal light

Jaycie doing the other side of the roof for the house when she got home from school

Bryce helping me make these, by putting an Oreo into each one. Gave some to one of  the girls i visit teach for her birthday

bryce loved this open sign for the foam gingerbread house.

Bryce pretended there was a hurricane that hit the gingerbread house. It was quite the hurricane! Bryce loves to destroy and wreck. Any chance or excuse he gets. Must be a boy thing because Jaycie doesn't do it.

Juicy fruit! love spending my days at home with the kids n crafting together too.

The finished product. We lost one of the snow fronts for the house as you can see, we have since found it.

Making the foam gingerbread house was a fun project. I got this one 90% at Michaels last year along with a bunch of other Christmas crafts. So we did a lot of fun cheap crafts this year.
It took us two days to complete it because Bryce will only craft for so long, he gets bored/distracted easily still and Jaycie didn't have much time after school that day because we were busy with other things (can't remember what) so after two days between the two of them we finished it! It was a fun one because there were lots of fun stickers to add to the house and lots of glitter to add that looked like snow. Turned out really cute and comes apart and goes back together easily which is something they both like to do. Take it apart and put it back together, its kinda like a lego gingerbread house in a way.

I love being at home with the kids. Not that I worked that much before, but its so nice not to have to work at all! I'm loving it. I love my carefree days at home. Being a mom is the best job in the world. It might not always be the easiest and its always a learning process but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

“The homemaker has the ultimate career. All other careers exist for one purpose only – and that is to support the ultimate career.”  - C.S. Lewis
If all other careers exist for the purpose of supporting the “ultimate career” of homemaking, then on a more minute if not important scale, the work of a homemaker exists so that we can create and enjoy day-to-day moments with our children–moments that have the potential to transform both us and them depending on how they are used.
