Ten on Tuesday the 6th

1. I've heard people say for years that a foundation brush is a must have. I finally got one a while back and I have to agree, a foundation brush is a must. I love mine.

2. I'm having a hard time getting the kids to constantly believe in Santa. Oh, they do deep down, but doubts continue to arise all the time. Like Jaycie saw barcodes on all the stuff Santa gave her in her gift bag. Figured out that Santa stuff shouldn't have barcodes. Bryce has his doubts as well. How does he give gifts to all the kids around the world? (he's magic) His reply, "even magical people can't do that all in one night."

3. I have really become a home body lately. I don't go many places anymore. We went to Lethbridge on Saturday but before that I hadn't been for two weeks. The trip before that I went 12 days before I made a lethbridge trip. So if you want to see us, you gotta come to our house especially as the weather gets colder cause I'm stayin' home.

4. Bryce is the cutest boy I know! He says and does the cutest things.

5. Took dinner tonight to a girl who had a baby recently. Made french bread. It was out on the island  rising (had to put it there since I was using other space and the stove) and I was cooking at the stove. Hear smacking and turn around to see Bryce flattening the bread flat. Not impressed. French bread ruined. So improvised and turned them into flat bread sticks instead. Had to swallow my pride and deliver them as is. Life went on and laughed about it instead.

6. I love everything about Christmas, but who doesn't? The lights, the music, the spirit of it all and remembering why we celebrate Christmas.

7. Got Elfed yesterday. The kids were excited. Can't wait to return the fun.

8. I'm really hard on myself when people come over and my house isn't tidy. I need to let it go. But it bugs me so. I'm sure people don't care or even really see it as such because I know its not what I notice when I go to others homes, but I sure do when people come over. I see the floor that needs to be mopped, the kids rooms that are a disaster even though they were spotless the day before, the laundry that's in piles but never got put away, etc.

9. Jaycie wants an ice cream maker like this for Christmas because I want one. She knows that Santa only brings presents to kids so she is asking Santa for one for me. Unfortunately our Santa (aka Jeff) already spent way over his limit on me so I'm not getting anything else. She's so sweet and thoughtful.

10. What 3 year old asks for naps? A growing one. Bryce has been growing and has wanted to have a nap the past two days. "Mom, I'm tired, can I have a nap?" And yes he lays right down and has a long nap. He napped at 10:30am to 12:45pm yesterday and the day before he napped for a couple of hours in the afternoon. It was weird to have both the kids sleeping in the morning, and lovely all at the same time. :)
