We wrap up 24 books
We have a few Christmas books of our own but we get most of them from the library
Pick one each day to unwrap
The kids love it, absolutely love it
It's so fun to get to unwrap a present each day (maybe thats why they aren't tempted to unwrap the presents under the tree?)
Some are books we've read before that are favourites and others a new so its always a surprise
It's doing one of my favourite things with the kids - reading
I get to snuggle with them
I got a few more books this year that were more of the spirit of Christmas instead of all fluffy fun ones. I cried reading those. They are always so touching.
It may be quite a bit of work wrapping all those books, but its our favourite Christmas tradition and SO worth it and can't wait to do it again next year. I love establishing traditions and I'm always looking for new ones so pass any good ones along!
