Shanelle's First Bath

Bryce was not impressed with what they were doing to her, making her scream

Friday night the nurses came in and gave Shanelle her first bath. 

Luckily Jaycie and Bryce were still there so they got to see her have her first bath. Bryce wasn’t sure what to think of his sister getting a bath. I think he was unimpressed with the nurses making her scream. 

I asked Jaycie what she thought about Shanelle’s first bath “Horrible! I can’t believe they made her scream like that.”

So I can’t decide if it was a good thing they were there or not since they both thought that it was awful. Maybe it would’ve been better for them not to see it? It was hard to hear her scream, but the nurse was quick and efficient and it was nice to have her all clean and then wrap her up tight afterwards and snuggle with her.
