Overdue

It’s Tuesday September 20th, two days overdue. Our baby girl is still hiding in there as we await her arrival. Hopefully she comes out soon....

Random pregnancy facts....

I think she will really like ice cream because I’ve eaten TONS of it this pregnancy

I gained 34lbs

I carry her the same way I did with my other two, up high

She only had hiccups once

She kicks a lot, more than my other two ever did and still kicks quite a bit even for this stage when it starts to get really cramped and not much room

They say that she is going to be small, but watch I will have a 9lb baby or something crazy

I haven’t had pregnancy brain this time around

I kept really active throughout my pregnancy, still did a lot of walking and biking right up till the end. I think it really helps when it comes to labour, one of the reasons why I have such good labours or maybe I’m just really lucky?

Don’t have any cravings, I didn’t with my other two either. 

Only bought one maternity top this time around, I just used what I had from before although I only wore a few because I didn’t like most of my old ones, made me look like a house and can’t believe that I wore those shirts with the other two pregnancies. I didn’t end up wearing any maternity pants, just used my bella band with my pants, my ‘bigger’ pants mind you. Those 34lbs had to go somewhere.

The kids really like the belly and love to touch it and kiss it (Bryce kisses it a lot, Jaycie rarely does) They like to talk to the baby and Bryce likes to sing to her. They didn’t like the fact that my lap was gone and couldn’t sit on it though. 

Don’t have any stretch marks and only put lotion on my belly when it was itchy which wasn’t that often. I think those special stretch mark creams are a hoax. If you get them you get them, if you don’t than you don’t. 

Ate lots of sweets just because.

I know how lucky I am to have such great pregnancies and try not to take that for granted.

My favourite part of being pregnant is feeling the baby kick. It never gets old and is such an amazing feeling. The knowledge that there is something growing and living inside of me. Wow! Such a miracle. I’m grateful for the blessing to be able to be pregnant and have this experience. The whole thing is amazing and truly is a blessing.
