Games Day

He might not learn by doing the banking and the properties etc, but he loves to do patterns (learned that from Jaycie - she’s big into doing patterns too) Children learn best through play!

His way of playing this game is setting up all the cones and pylons and racing through them with Lightening McQueen. Too fun and cute!

On this particular morning, we played games, quite a few I might add. (just didnt take pictures of everyone) We played monopoly, hungry hippos, Cootie, Break the ice, trouble, fishing, and marbles. It was a morning filled with games and fun.
I love playing games, its one of my favourite things to do. I also think its great for the kids, while we don’t always play by the rules or play them properly they still learn and have fun in different ways. Cleaning up after each game is also a good teaching tool too, clean up as your go. Even I need to remember that sometimes, like when I’m in the kitchen.
