Jaycie adores her little sister, she is her 2nd mom.
The first thing she does each day when she comes home from school is wash her hands (a rule I implemented at the start of school - don’t want her bringing all those school germs into our home) and then she holds and oohs and aahs over her.
She is constantly saying “She is SO CUTE!”
Jaycie loves to show her off to her friends, especially Brynn.
She wants to bring her for her VIP day (like show and tell except they have to write down clues for the class to guess and they get 3 guesses and its supposed to fit in their backpack.)
Jaycie loves to burp her after I feed her.
She doesn’t think its fair that Shanelle gets to stay up later than her. Tried to explain that she doesn’t have a schedule yet and she does sleep all day!
It’s nice that Jaycie is old enough to hold her on her own and I can trust her without watching her while she holds her. I don’t let her walk around or anything (I know some mom’s do with kids her age) she always has to be sitting, but I’m confident in her abilities to take care of her if I need to go help Bryce or whatever for a minute.
I hope they always stay the best of friends, these two sisters. The bond of love has already been made, I hope it just keeps on getting stronger. I’m so glad that Jaycie has a sister.
