Conference Sunday

We ate like kings during conference
Sweet Shanelle, she likes to have her hands up by her face, she also did in utero as well, she also loves her hands played with and touched.

Shanelle's 2nd mom

New tradition we've started - cinnamon buns for conference. The kids made them, with a little assistance from me.
Shanelle listening attentively to conference - Shanelle day 9

We went for a walk after conference. These two had fun taking turns riding or peddling on the trike

Love the warm fall weather!

The monkey bar queen

Bryce being silly, he was crashing on his trick just for laughs and reaction. He would pedal and then hit the gravel and crash and then laugh and think it was hilarious. What a ham he is!
It was a wonderful conference weekend. Relaxing time together spent as a family. Loved the talks, love hearing the inspired words of our prophet and apostles. Definitely some that were just for me. I love how the spirit works and teaches you through their words.
It was one of the best conferences since we had a newborn to hold the whole time.
I love watching conference at home. It's so relaxing, you can actually pay attention and don't have to worry about keeping the kids busy and quiet. They listen to certain talks and for others they play.
We started a new tradition. Conference Buns (aka cinnamon buns) The kids made them. Helped put the ingredients in the mixer then after the dough rose, Jaycie rolled them out, Bryce spread the butter around with the brush and sprinkled the cinnamon sugar mixture, they both rolled them up and then took turns cutting them with floss and placing them in the pan. They were delicious!
After the afternoon session we went for a walk to the park together. Its one of my favourite family activities, either walking or biking together.
