Echo Trip

Jaycie adores her sister and LOVES to hold her. She asks to hold her all the time. It's so sweet.
Both of  the kids loving her and holding her little hand. Their hands are huge compared to hers!

Sleeping with my babe - Day 16

The huge leaves we found on our walk.

We did leaf rubbings with them.

Shanelle folding her arms for the prayer. The kids loved that she did it all by herself at just the right time -  Day 17

We had a great time at the lake. It was super relaxing. We did a lot of nothing. Grandma Dorothy was down there with us and it was wonderful to have her there with us. We had a great time all together just chatting, going on a little walk with dee dee, shopping and most of all relaxing. It definitely felt like a nice weekend away, even Jeff agrees. We missed thanksgiving dinner, first time in my life that I've hadn't had turkey dinner for thanksgiving, but I will survive. Jaycie surprisingly was quite distraught that she didn't get to have turkey dinner. She really wanted me to cook a turkey dinner, but I never got around to buying a turkey. We will have to buy one though because really they are easy dinners and leftovers are delicious. The nice relaxing weekend was worth missing dinner I think.
We are sure lucky to be able to go down there.
We watched the movie 17 miracles. What an amazing story and makes it come to life to see it in a film. I cried and I bawled. It was so touching and I couldn't imagine losing children or husband or family members or going through that experience. What faith! What dedication and determination!
Especially being thanksgiving weekend, it made me SO grateful for all of my Many Many blessings. My family being number one, the gospel, my ever growing testimony, my Saviour, and my health. So much to be thankful for!!
