Jaycie's creation

When Jaycie gets home from school we always have a snack and then do something together the 3 of us. This day was the easy but ever so popular marshmallows and toothpicks. Some days we play a game together, other times we colour a picture, sometimes we read books, other times we get a whole bunch of craft stuff out and see what we can made, sometimes we play outside, other times we play with their toys. With Jaycie being gone all day its fun to reconnect with a yummy snack and fun activities together, especially if I am teaching piano that day. I didn't do any lessons right after school this year since I wanted time to spend with the kids (mostly Jaycie) before I had to teach. I love our precious time together that we have after school. 

 I was able to cut down the number of students I had from last year so that makes it nice and I don't teach more than an hour a day except for thursdays which is my long day. I love teaching and love the kids I teach and its nice because Jaycie and Bryce look forward to seeing my students each week. Kindave neat actually. 

My kids have been asking to go swimming, they really miss swimming. We went almost everyday this summer and then the pool closed and we haven't been swimming since - for obvious reasons - had a baby :) So I've been trying to make bath time a little more fun or extra special to make their water time more fun. Hopefully fill the desire just a little bit since we can't go swimming until Shanelle is older. Tonight we coloured the bath pink and did some shaving gel art too. It was Pinktastic!
