| Jaycie looked a little weird in the last one, so I took another one. |
Jaycie's aid for her classroom is Mrs. Davies. They own the Movie's n More store uptown and told all the kids in the class that they HAD to come to the grand opening and gave them pictures to colour for a contest. So off we went the kids and I. Jaycie loved her balloon flower and Bryce got a giraffe, green of course. He just loves green so much! Jaycie was disappointed that she didn't win the colouring contest since she worked hard and did her very best, but also a good lesson to learn that you don't always win. Hard, but true.
On the way home (we walked) the wind was blowing quite hard (it does that here in Raymond....too often I think) and Jaycie lost her balloon. It went flying down the street. Luckily Blake's mom Michelle was driving by and got it for Jaycie when it got briefly caught in some tall grass since she could see how distraught Jaycie was as she ran after it and then when she realized it was hopeless burst into tears. But Michelle saved the day. Grateful for good people who go out of their way to help others in need.
