I've been holding Shanelle tons and just can't seem to get enough
We love you so.
I've really slowed down and taken lots of time to enjoy this newborn stage.
Thankful for books to read with Bryce and Jaycie while I feed Shanelle
Shanelle is a really good baby
I feel really in tune with her and seem to be able to 'read' her better, know what exactly she wants and needs, so far any way.
She eats when she wakes up, where as my other two always ate before they fell asleep. I have learned that this is the better way, so she won't have to rely on me to fall asleep. She can go to sleep on her own which will be important to know when she gets a little older.
Found out today that my friends daughter who is two was just diagnosed with leukaemia. Awful!! So sad!! But there is hope. Makes me realize once again how blessed we are and to cherish our little ones that much more. Makes moments like pictured above that much more special and important and realize that life can change in an instant so hold them and love them just that much more!
