Eating Solids and the Rodeo

YUM YUM well kid nave. She doesn't love eating and its going to take some getting used to. So far whenever she eats she only makes faces likes its super sour or something which I don't think rice cereal is :) I really need to keep this updated because at this time all she had tried was cereals and now 3 weeks later as I write this she has tried a whole array of foodsShe's tried 3 different kinds of cereals, apples, pears, peaches, bananas, squash, sweet potato, peas, beans, carrots and turnips. Some she has liked, others not so much. Surprisingly the only fruit she's liked so far is bananas and the only veggies she doesn't like is peas.

Madi came over for a playdate with Bryce. They had lots of fun together - they were just outside catching bugs. Love that they wanted a net to catch them with :) We've had lots of ladybugs in the last couple of weeks. Too cute and fun!

I went to the bike rodeo to watch Jaycie.

Bryce participated in it too. He was so excited to be with the big kids and was listening attentively.

Getting his helmet checked....

Super excited!!

Jaycie mostly excited :)

I love that I am home that I can always attend the things my children do during the day. It was enjoyable to go to the bike rodeo and see Jaycie and Bryce go through the course and learn about bike safety. It's so good for them to learn the proper rules and hand signals and reasons why we do things (not just because mom says) We do a lot of bike riding!! so it was all a good reminder.

Shanelle is getting to be such a big girl eating so many different kinds of foods and trying new things. Love her to bits! So lucky to have such a good girl who is happy and smiling all the time. I could go on about how she is the cutest girl ever, the joy she brings into our lives, her cute noises, etc. but I don't think I need to say any of that, you can tell by just looking at her smiling face and know how much we love and adore her.
