Campout

Roasting Hot dogs with dad over the fire pit 

Jaycie and Bryce slept in the tent with Jeff. Jeff went in to sleep some more (since he didn't sleep most of the night - who does in a tent?) so Shanelle and I went to visit the kids in the morning and snuggle with them in the tent. Then we went outside and played frisbee and soccer before I had to leave to the conference that morning. 

The kids had an absolute blast doing a campout with Jeff. He got out the portable propane fire pit thing and they cooked hot dogs over the fire and then slept in the tent. The kids loved it!!!

I went out with a bunch of girls to firestone to celebrate a friends birthday and then over to another friends to an extended girls night out. It was two girls night out combined into one. It was a great evening spent with lots of friends, two different groups. Stayed up way too late, but had a marvellous time with wonderful people. I hadn't been to a girls night in a long time - probably before summer so it was nice.

The kids had fun with just dad and Shanelle and I had fun with the girls. 

Saturday morning I went to a stake women's conference that was fabulous. They had different speakers to choose from, all of which were excellent. Such a spiritual feast. Loved all of it so much! Shanelle was once again an amazing baby and slept through most of it. It was perfect. I got the best of both worlds - to hold her while she slept (which I don't do much anymore) and enjoy the conference too. 

It was a great weekend full of memories made, time together, spiritually uplifting, one on one time, chatting with friends, just a good all around fabulous weekend.
