Small Town Living

Walking up to the library and post office in style. Jaycie was dressed up as a cheerleader and Bryce was ironman. Jaycie liked to push Bryce on his trike for a while and he liked to give her rides on the back for a while so it was a win win. It's so enjoyable as a mom to see your kids having fun together.

They hung up their jackets at the library and more :) It was cute so I took a picture. We love going to the library. We love the librarian Mrs. Jensen, picking up all our fun books that we put on hold and then the kids get to choose one or two that they find there that they like as well. Jeff and I enjoy watching movies that we get from the library, we haven't rented a movie in a long long time. The library is such a great resource from movies to books to music and take full advantage of being able to put books on hold from home. We love reading books. 

Dress up time. The kids love to dress up and we have lots of them thanks to my mom giving me all the old clogging and skating costumes and add halloween costumes in there plus a few the neighbours have given us like the army one above. 

I love living in Raymond - a small town

I love being able to walk everywhere and we do a lot. And the weather this winter has been so mild we have still been walking all through winter, the wind hasn't stopped us. 

I love walking, I love getting outside and the fresh air, I love appreciating the little things as we walk, I love  seeing the kids discover new things as we walk whether its a flower or crunching ice, stomping and making tracks in the snow, seeing a bobcat parked on the side of the road up close and being able to see the tracks and the gears etc in real life and not just in a book, and not to mention the bonus of exercise too. 

It's been absolutely wonderful having Jaycie home this week from school. I miss her when she's gone all day. She is so much fun to have around. The week went by too fast. I can't wait till summer and she's home all day everyday. Sure do love our kids!
