After School Fun Everyday

These next few pictures aren't really part of the post, but they are random so I thought I would include them. I still love all of Shanelle's tiny little features and parts of her. I love her little hands. I love holding them, doing rhymes and songs with them, having them curl around mine, having them hold onto my shirt, having them feel my face trying to discover what my eyes and nose feels like, discover new things, grab things. Oh, how amazing are our hands.  

She loves her sheep pillow as do the other kids. Jaycie has a dog and Bryce has a giraffe. Comes with a blanket and pillow (like a small pillow pet). They are both as soft as can be and cozy. We love them. Might even go buy some more to have when these ones wear out :)

Having a fishy snack in the "airplane" Bryce is the pilot and Jaycie is the assistant captain. (Are they called captains for planes? I don't know, but that's what the kids were calling themselves)

I love the time after school

I love having a snack ready for the kids when they come home. Sometimes its a simple homemade muffin (their favourite is blueberry or pumpkin) and milk and other times its a creative snack (need to go through all my pins and start planning some more creative fun snacks that I've seen)

We usually read books while they have a snack and talk about their day

I love reconnecting with the kids when they come home (Bryce is gone two afternoons a week to Joy School)

I love our kids

I love being a mom

I love having Jeff home (he doesn't enjoy his picture being taken and I don't plan fun snacks or activities for him, but might take a picture anyway :) but I love him just the same and seeing his face walk in the door after being gone all day too. 

Our life isn't perfect and I do have trying/tiring days but on the whole life is wonderful
