| It's serious work, decorating the tree |
The Fleming Family set up their Christmas tree and ever since Bryce heard that, he kept on asking and asking when we could set up ours. So I finally caved (it was not even mid november yet!) and we set it up on November 14th for FHE.
This year the kids decorated the whole tree by themselves. They even did the top ones with me lifting them up. And this is the first year I left it decorated as is too. I didn't move or adjust any of the decorations they put on, and it still looked good. A few too many clustered at the very bottom but it still looked fine. The kids loved that I left it too and knew that it was 'their tree' that 'they decorated'.
I love the lights of the Christmas tree and the alluring glow it provides. Beautiful.
It's one of my favourite things about Christmas, the lights and decorations on the tree.
