2 Months

isn't she sweet?

chatting with mom and drooling and kicking. She's multitasking already.

With his little girl after work. A little dazed look from the flash.

Shanelle just loves to lay and kick. She moves and kicks her little legs and arms like crazy all while smiling and grinning and cooing. Just being completely and utterly CUTE.

She sleeps really well in her car seat. I've been so tempted to put her there for the night and I'm sure she would sleep all night, but they say not to and I'm sure its more comfy in her cradle, so I haven't. It makes shopping really nice though because once she falls asleep in there, she's good for hours.

When Jeff was done mutual we laid Shanelle on the blanket to just kick and we can't get enough of her and all her cuteness. We were in the living room by the light of the Christmas tree just watching her and chatting with her, the three of us together. It was a nice evening.

Shanelle loves to suck on her fist. She has also discovered a new sound with her voice recently. It was darling. She was cooing with her new sound again and again, making a song out of it.

She weighs 9lbs 9oz and is 23.5" long

She loves to stand and look in the mirror. She can stand up and hold her head up very well. She likes to do the one foot stomp while standing.

Shanelle loves her baths especially ones with Jeff. She cuddles in the warm water with him or else swims in the big tub by kicking and waving her arms. She literally gets to swim in there since its so deep.

She is very responsive and loves it when you talk to her. She always has a grin or smile to respond. She is the most responsive of the kids.

She is a super good baby. Rarely if ever fusses. She goes to sleep really well. Is happy all the time. Sleeps, wakes up and eats and then is happy and awake for a couple of hours and then starts it all over again. She isn't on any schedule yet, but repeats the above cycle approx every 3 hours or a little more. Sometimes she sleeps for more than 3 hours or is awake for more than 3 hours.

We just love her SO very much. She has brought so much joy into our lives. More than we expected!
