Calgary Get Away

Before I went to my meetings. Sad to leave this girl behind but here and dad sure had fun together.

Yup, lovin life as were we!

Swimming at the hotel pool. It was a nice pool with a slide and two hot tubs and a little kiddie area too. Wishin Jaycie and Bryce were with us :(

Um, don't mind the swim diaper on top. Jeff put on her swim diaper and its still so big, he thought to himself that this diaper isn't going to keep anything in so he put the reusable one over top to seal it all in in case but we didn't want to use just the reusable one underneath since we wouldn't be able to wash it if it got dirty, hence the funny looking swim attire

Fun to swim with our little girl. She loves it and was chattering and splashing and well, just LOVING it and we were too seeing how much fun she was having. Took her down the slide too - didn't love it, didn't hate it. 

Went out for dinner at the restaurant hotel. It was blizzarding outside so it was nice to not have to go anywhere and still 'go out'. Shanelle is asleep in my arms. She fell asleep before we were even served our drinks. What a good girl she is! Jeff and I had a nice dinner together while she slept.

Love him! So nice to have a weekend away together!

So I am the branch president of our Southern Alberta Branch for ACMDTT and every year they have a conference. Since I am the branch president that means I get to go for free. It's always a nice weekend get away for Jeff and I (which wouldn't be possible without Mom and Dad who take the kids (and Scott and Neechel who watched them last year for us). 

It was a nice hotel in a great location. 

We had a nice relaxing time and just did whatever 

During the day I have the conference that I attend but since its at the hotel I see Jeff and Shanelle frequently during the day since there are lots of breaks and lunch etc. I can just pop up quick and say hi. 

We had a good time in the evenings together and just did whatever we felt like.

We had a good time swimming together watching Shanelle have so much fun although missed the other kids like crazy during that time and wishing they were with us too!

Jeff and Shanelle had lots of daddy daughter time. He went for a walk with her, took her out for lunch, had naps with her, played, watched a show together :) She was such a good girl the entire time!

It was just a fun relaxing weekend away together for Jeff and I and something we look forward to every year.
