Breakfast

I've discovered that doing just little different things can turn the ordinary into extraordinary. When the kids have cereal we like to switch it up and have it in fancy glasses or odd shaped containers. It just makes it fun. Here Bryce is using a parfait glass. Jaycie likes to have hers in these specially dessert glass dishes that I have. Another favourite is using the gravy boat! Sometimes we use tall plastic cups which adds a challenge to eating the cereal, but the kids love it. It's fun to get creative with dishes to make the usual cereal eating into something different and fun.

Loves drinking from her sippy while she eats.

Speaking of cereal, Shanelle is also getting really good at picking up those Cherrios with her little fingers. I love watching her pinch them and then try and get them in her mouth. Now a month later as I write this she has mastered this skill but at the the time it was still a huge new thing for her. It's so fun and rewarding as a mom to see your child learn and master new things.
