Riding the Combine

Standing, waiting for the combine to come around. I love how he has his hands in his pockets, so casual and cool.

Jaycie caught a butterfly. There were tons of them around since there was a canola field on the other side of the road and they like the canola.

Carrying Bryce to the combine, the cut wheat was really pokey and sharp.

She caught two more cabbage butterflies.
Smiles...I didn’t pay attention to the bright sunlight that was casting dark eye shadows. Oh well, she’s still as cute and sweet as ever!
Serious Jaycie...

Beautiful colors, the green and yellow with the blue skies and clouds. It was a gorgeous day.

To say that Bryce was excited to go in the combine with Richard would be an understatement. When I told Bryce that he was invited to go with him, he was jumping up and down saying “I get to go on the combine!! I get to go on the combine!!
He calls Richard his buddy and now has a special love for him. He will run up to him and just chat with him when he sees him at church or at the office. It’s so cute. They truly are buddies.
It was a great afternoon. Bryce had tons of fun going in the combine. He says, “it’s way better than spraying, the combine is way cooler than the sprayer.”
Jaycie and I had fun together. She had a wonderful time catching butterflies and then it was just her and I at home for a couple of hours (yes, Bryce was gone for quite a while on the combine) and we played and had girl time together.
Bryce got home and couldn’t stop talking about the combine how it did this and that. So cute!
