Whoop Up Parade
Jaycie and I went to the Whoop Up Parade with my sister Erin, Jaxson, (Diana - my sister's little boy) and my Mom. It was a great day especially weather wise. The parade was good, but got a little long. Jaycie liked seeing the horses, especially the miniature ones, hearing the bands play, the big indian drums, and firetrucks. She waved and clapped at many of the floats. When we arrived at the parade, someone had obviously gone down the line of spectators and given out balloons. All Jaycie wanted the whole time was a balloon. Poor girl, she didn't end up getting one. I thought she would get one when we went to the BBQ afterwards, but the balloons were all tied together and the lady didn't have any scissors to cut one off for her. But like the good little girl she is, she accepted the fact that she never got a balloon without a fuss, but you could see how disappointed she was. She wanted one sooo bad. Jaycie kept her cowboy hat on the whole time which I was glad. It really shaded the sun.
