Here is me again at almost 21 weeks. I can now feel the baby kick, (I love it) and Jeff can now too. He seems to be most active at night when I am just going to sleep. Doesn't bother me though. I also wonder sometimes too that I notice it a lot more just because I am laying there still and not moving or doing other things. I am still feeling great and just loving being pregnant. Out little boy measured right in the 50%, so he is growing just right. I know I am a lot bigger already with this baby, than I was with Jaycie. Oh well, I love the belly and sometimes I look down and all of a sudden it hits me. Wow, there is a baby growing inside there! Sometimes you forget because it just becomes such a normal part of you. (at least it does for me) It is one of those absolutely amazing things that takes you out of the 'world' and makes you stop and think.
Jaycie talks more about her baby brother and is noticing that my belly continues to get bigger.
I asked her what we should call the baby and there was no response, so I listed off a couple of names.
She replied, "just call him baby brother" followed by..
"Hello in there" as she waves to my belly.
Jaycie can't wait for her baby brother to come out. I know she will just love him and take care of him like she does to her own dolls now.
Almost every night before she goes to sleep she tells me
"When my baby brother comes out, going to let him sleep in my crib"
"Oh Jaycie, that is so nice to share your crib"
"I love baby brother"
"I do too, and I love you"
"Nighty Nite Mom"
Jeff and Jaycie always have little conversations before he puts her in her bed instead of reading her a story. Talk about the day, things happening, memories, etc. So cute to hear them. I think Jeff was talking to Jaycie about her giving her crib to her baby brother when he comes, so that is why she talks about it.
